Passages for translation ( Part - 1 )

हेलो फ्रेंड्स स्वागत है आप सभी का आपके अपने ब्लॉग में आज की पोस्ट में हम कक्षा 10 में पूछे जाने वाले कुछ प्रचलित solved passages को आप तक पहुंचा रहे हैं जिन को पढ़कर और उनकी प्रैक्टिस करके आप passages का अनुवाद करने के तरीके को अच्छी तरह से समझ सकते हैं तथा यह भी जान पाएंगे की कक्षा 10 के प्रश्न पत्र में किस प्रकार के passages अनुवाद करने के लिए आते हैं पहले हम कुछ बहुत ही सरल passages का अनुवाद करना सीखेंगे उसके बाद धीरे-धीरे कठिन passages को भी सीखेंगे ........ 

 Exercise-1

वर्षा ऋतु आ गई है़ंं। जुलाई और अगस्त का महीना बड़ा सुहावना होता है। यह ऋतु किसानों के लिए अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण है। वर्षा ही कृषि का आधार है। 

The rainy season has come now. The month of july and August is very pleasant. This season is very important for the farmers. The rain is the base of agriculture. 

Exercise-2

एक चींटी नदी की धारा में बहती जा रही थी। वह किनारे आने की कोशिश कर रही थी, लेकिन आ नहीं पा रही थी। एक तोते ने एक पत्ता तोड़ कर पानी में डाल दिया। चींटी  पत्ते पर बैठ गई और उसकी जान बच गई।

An ant was flowing along the current of a river.  It was trying to come to the bank but could not come. A parrot, plucking a leaf, dropped it into the water. The ant sat on the leaf and its life was saved.

Exercise-3

मीना कक्षा 10 की विद्यार्थी है। वह इलाहाबाद में एक पब्लिक स्कूल में पढ़ती है। वह 14 वर्ष की है। वह एक बहुत अच्छी गायिका है। वह प्रायः स्कूल के सभी समारोहों  में नृत्य करती है। वह स्वभाव से बड़ी मिलनसार है। वह अपने सहपाठियों से अच्छा व्यवहार करती है। उसने 5 वर्ष की आयु से नृत्य - कला सीखना शुरू किया था। वह एक प्रसिद्ध नर्तकी बनना चाहती है।

Mina is the student of class 10th. She studies in a public school at Allahabad.  She is 14 years old. She is a very good singer. She often dances in all the functions of the school. By nature, she is very submissive. She behaves well with her classmates. She had started to learn the art of dancing when she was five years old. She wants to be a famous dancer.

Exercise-4

कलिंग के युद्ध ने सम्राट अशोक का जीवन बदल दिया। उसने कलिंग के युद्ध में असंख्य लोगों को बिना बात मरते हुए देखा था। इसके बाद उसने कभी भी युद्ध ना करने की प्रतिज्ञा की। उसने धर्म का मार्ग अपनाया और जीवन में अहिंसा तथा प्रेम को महत्व दिया।

The battle of Kalinga changed the life of emperor Ashoka. He had seen numerous people dying in the battle of Kalinga for no fault at their part. After this, he took a vow never to fight. He accepted the path of Dharma and gave importance to non- violence and love in his life. 

Exercise - 5

हिंदुओं के लिए गंगा एक पवित्र नदी है। यह उत्तर भारतीयों के लिए जीवनदायिनी है। हिंदू लोग गंगा को "मां गंगा" कहते हैं। प्रत्येक हिंदू गंगा के तट पर जाकर प्रसन्न होता है। यहां मेले भी लगते हैं। सबसे पवित्र कुंभ मेला प्रति 12 वर्ष पश्चात इलाहाबाद तथा हरिद्वार में लगता है जिसमें भाग लेने के लिए देश-विदेश से लोग आते हैं। 

For the Hindus, The Ganga is a holy river. It is the life giver to the North Indians. The Hindus call the Ganga "mother Ganga". Every Hindu  becomes happy when he goes to the holy bank of river Ganga. Fairs are also held here. The holiest Kumbh fair is held in Allahabad and Haridwar after every twelve years. The people come to take part in it from the country and abroad. 

Exercise - 6

जब मैं स्टेशन पर पहुंचा तो रेल गाड़ी छूटने ही वाली थी। मैं दौड़कर प्लेटफार्म पर पहुंचा। मैं मुश्किल से वहां पहुंचा ही था कि रेलगाड़ी चल दी। गाड़ी ने शीघ्र ही गति पकड़ ली और मैं एक मूर्ख की तरह उसे प्लेटफार्म से बाहर जाते हुए देख रहा था। 

When I reached the station. The train was about to leave. I rushed to the platform. Hardly had I reached there when it started. The train soon gathered speed and I was watching it like a fool passing out of the platform. 

Exercise - 7

भारत तेजी से उन्नति कर रहा है। यह एक प्रगतिशील देश है।जनसंख्या और बढ़ती कीमतें बड़ी समस्याएं हैं। यदि हम इन्हें नियंत्रित कर ले तो हमारा देश महान बन सकता है। 

India is progressing rapidly. It is a developing country. The population and rising prices are big problems. If we control them then our country can become great. 

Exercise - 8

बरसात का मौसम होने के बावजूद भी बारिश नहीं हो रही थी।भीषण गर्मी से लोग परेशान थे। लेकिन अचानक एक शाम मौसम  बदल गया। 1 सप्ताह की तेज बारिश से खेत, मैदान और शहर के कई मोहल्ले पानी से भर गए। 

Although it was the rainy season, it was not raining . The people were oppressed by awful heat. But all of a sudden one evening the weather got changed. Due to heavy rain for a week, the fiedls, the ground and a number of localities of the city were filled with water. 

Exercise - 9

मेरे पास एक कुत्ता है। उसका नाम डायमंड है। वह बहुत वफादार है। वह बहुत तेज दौड़ता है। जब वह मुझे देखता है, वह पूछ हिलाने लगता है। 

I have a dog. His name is Diamond. He is Very faithful. He runs very fast. When he sees me, He begins to wag his tail. 

Exercise - 10

लाल बहादुर शास्त्री भारत के महान पुरुषों में से एक थे।  वे भारत के द्वितीय प्रधानमंत्री थे। वे गांधी जी के सच्चे शिष्य थे। वे सादा जीवन उच्च विचार में विश्वास रखते थे। 

Exercise - 11

Lal Bahadur Shastri was one of the great men of India. He was the second prime minister of India. He was the true disciple of Gandhiji. He believed in simple living and high thinking. 

Exercise - 12

मेरे अंग्रेजी के अध्यापक एक आदर्श अध्यापक हैं। वे बड़े लगन से विद्यार्थियों को पढ़ाते हैं। वे बहुत ही  स्वानुसाशित, कर्तव्यपरायण तथा परिश्रमी है। वे तन्मय होकर शिक्षण कार्य करते हैं। 

My English teacher is an ideal teacher. He teaches the students perseveringly. He is very disciplined, beautiful and laborious. He does his teaching work vehemently.
